DJ Gear Any DJ's on here that can recommend an entry level kit that I purchase for my son's birthday? I'm hoping to find an inexpensive controller that will work with an Android tablet... |
There's a thread on this in the music forum you may have to dig a bit but a lot of info in there |
Will do, thanks. |
DDJ-WeGO - Compact DJ Controller for Virtual DJ LE and more | Pioneer Electronics USA Will work on Android. Does he have a computer? |
He doesn't have a laptop as he's actually only 10 years old. Thought I could find something that incorporates an Android table instead of iPad's. Perhaps something with a cradle or holder...it's overwhelming with all the stuff online. |
I was thinking of going with this: http://www.mixvibes.com/products/u-mix-control-pro-2: What do you think? |

U-Mix Control Pro 2 | DJ midi controller | Mixvibes That's what I meant but I later learned that it's discontinued and there isn't a new version. |

Can you guys in simple civilian words... explain what is the best set up or ummm maybe the easiest way to acquire and record music? Seems that Apple/ipad may get in the way with music licensing.. |
Hey, I've been djying for quite a while and I started off on a Vestax Typhoon. I still have it if you want it for like 50 bucks. I'm not sure if it'll run on an android tablet. You need either serato or traktor to run any controller. I'm sure you could map it for iDJ or DeeJay. PM me if you want! |
