Sadly terrorism happens everywhere, Canada was hit 3 times this year, if I'm not mistaken. Let's not forget 9/11, Boston bombing, etc.

Chances of being killed are minuscule, but that doesn't mean every effort shouldn't be made to learn from weaknesses in the system that could be used by an opportunist to attack the innocent.

Life in Europe is pretty damn great, but the socialist soft approach to immigration with the undertones of distrust of the "other" group has led to a marginalized group that has a tiny, yet visible, minority kicking up a storm.

If we live our lives in fear, the terrorists have won.

I'd rather live an awesome life of life's riches (beautiful scenery, great history, great culture) than run away and hide in fear of some whack job.
