Coal cooked food is the best way to experience a BBQ.
So I made this BBQ in day and it somewhat conforms to the laws if one was to take it to a park. Although I only advise using it at a green grass park, on a rocky beach or better yet a clear parking lot.
What makes my design unique then anything else Ive seen is its use of a gasification stove (efficiency, use of bio-mass, smokeless at times) to help cook and speed up the coal burning process. The bottom "coal starter" is technically below 30 inches high which could make it illegal by the time a park ranger happens to checkout your setup
Youd have to use a coal starter in the bottom fire as fuel...
How I made it... note one should let it burn high for atleast 20 minutes so that any toxic fumes are released away from you.

The top part is a metal strainer with a hole in the center.
The coals rest on the mesh basket and the lower fire is funneled straight through the top.
Puncture or drill holes to tie everything down using a metal wire
One could place skewers, a grill or a cast iron pan for use
- A leveling grill
- Cast iron lid to bounce back the heat onto the food
- A safety bar running across the inside, just behind the door, to catch the solo stove if the cart gets unleveled and with the door open.
- replace temporary wood spacer to metal and add hook for door latch
