What's my ATV worth?

Hey guys,

I have an ATV that I don't really use and want to get rid of. I have no clue what it's value is given that it has a couple of extras.

- Winch
- Snow plow

I've only used it like 10x and might as well sell it to someone who will actually use it. Any experienced ATV owners know what it's worth?

I ride an 06 kodiak 450. They are great machines but you need to give details to figure a price. Judging by the speedo and fairings a 350 or 400cc machine no front diff lock and 04 or newer?

Do you have the receipt for the original bill of sale? With the new regulations those are needed or else when you go to insure it they will charge you full tax even if you have paid it already.

I have no paperwork for this, Shiiiiett....

I got this ATV in a trade for 2 flat deck 53ft trailers lol. At the time it seemed like a fair trade lol.

I know nothing about ATV's, is there a VIN plate or some sort of manufacturers stamp on this thing?

E-SPEC 10-05-2015 09:05 AM

Its probably stolen then, could be anyways. What kind of person sells that without giving papers with it?

Phil@rise 10-06-2015 09:50 AM

My quads not stolen I know the original owner of it and when I bought it, it didnt come with papers. Most older quads dont have "papers" as they are not required to be registered or insured (changing soon) so most people have long since lost their papers and registration.

This is not the case. I know the original owner on a personal level.

Probably is the same case why I don't have reg papers either. It is an older quad for sure.

Phil, can you point me to a general area on the chassis to look at?

Phil@rise 10-20-2015 12:02 PM

Ill snoop around mine and let you know where I found it but I think the neck area

Apparently it'll be on the frame on the left hand side, possibly in the wheel well Kodiak VIN Number - ATVConnection.com ATV Enthusiast Community
