Are Ceco aluminum alloy wheels any good?

I am looking at getting some 19" Ceco BK139 winter wheels for my M3 from Kal Tire with 255/35/19 Michelin Alpin PA4 winter tires. Has anyone had any experience with Ceco wheels or heard if they are any good? The 19" Ceco aluminum alloys seem to be pretty reasonably priced at $175 per wheel but I have never heard of this brand before......

Thanks for any feedback provided!

is this it? http://www.cecodist.com/

i only know ceco as the generic brand every shop carries for wheel accessories, such as lug nuts and valve stems... i am not that familiar with their wheels though.

Yes Thumper that is the wheel I am considering for my winter setup for my M3. The price for a 19" wheel at $175 is pretty cheap but I don't know much about Ceco and am thinking if I should spend a little bit more perhaps on a Riva MX7 wheel from 1010 Tire at $230 each for the 19" wheel. For the extra $55 per wheel will it probably be a better wheel? This is just a winter setup for 3 or 4 months but I still want to get a decent wheel at a good price.

check to see what standards the wheels meet. and warranty.

my thoughts on winter setups is not to go too expensive, but obviously don't settle for cheap junk, because your chances of trashing something from wiping out in the snow or ice are high. so pick something that is tough enough to handle salt, etc. and is easy to fix or replace should the need arise. but that's just me and my empty wallet talking because i can't afford a bmw

having said that, the riva looks nice. being a dark color you don't have to worry about keeping them 100% clean in this weather...

Those aren't OE wheels, but avant garde makes some decent reps.

It's a wheel at $175/corner. Expect to get a wheel worth, $175/corner. Will it do the trick? More than likely. Will it be as strong as something "more expensive", probably not.

I bought some wheels about 10 years ago for my 2006 BMW 330i and even though they were properly balanced there was a shimmy when I drove above 100km per hour. I am wary to buy from a private seller because If I buy from a private seller there will be no recourse if there is a problem or defect with the wheel. If I buy wheels from a reputable retailer I should have at least some more confidence that any possible problems will be resolved. I am currently considering Kal Tire or Volco.......

18" winter wheels and Continental winter tires are over $4,000 after tax from a BMW retailer. I am hoping I can find a a high quality 18" or 19" winter wheel and tire setup for less than $3,000.
