| Need a fence builder/fixer
One post and couple section of my fence is leaning towards the neighbours yard due to the wind. Does anyone know a fence builder who can fix it or build new one. Thanks.

diy, easy as hell, especially if you buy those pre-fab ones and all you do is stake them into the ground

Without actually seeing it, I suspect the footing for the post between the 2 panels is compromised. If that's the case, it would be a matter of removing the 2 panels and the post and replacing the post with a new one, securely, then reinstalling the panels.

It does look pretty easy logically, just new post in the bracket then new panels, but actually doing it is another story for me. Lol

Reciprocating saw makes the job go much easier. With the right blade, it cuts through the nails like hot knife through butter. If you don't have one, I can lend you mine. I have cordless ones now and the corded one just sits in my tool bin collecting dust, insects, and god knows what else.
As for the post, it might be anchored in cement. If it is you can cut the sucker as close to the concrete as possible, then drill a bunch of holes into the wood as deep into the concrete as possible. Then break up what's left - if it's rotted, it's going to be easy. After that, place new post into concrete and pour some new concrete around. That's one way to do it. If it isn't in concrete, you're laughing.
Newborn, eh? I remember those days............ working outside gives you an excuse not to look after the kid, lol.
EDIT: NVM, it's got brackets. Easy as pie, then.

Is the post sitting on a metal saddle or buried in concrete?

The girls just show up with MG1 around. Something about daddy issues and what not. |

I, unfortunately, can't recommend you a fencing contractor. I would encourage you to not go through HD/Rona, however. The quality of work they deliver tends to be low, while the prices tend to be high, because the big-box needs it's cut of the profit. Check out Craigslist. You shouldn't have trouble finding a carpenter willing to pick up a bit of side work.

If there's an RS group DIY, I'd be willing to help out if we do it in the new year (I won't have the time prior to that).

Well, in that case, I'm sure RS DIY crew can help out. I've got small truck so can help pick up panels. Yeah, too cold right now = shrinkage. Hee hee
Post (pun intended) in this thread when ready. Hopefully, midget pr0n convention will be held in GVRD this year, meaning Lomac will be around. Sub'd.

Yeah, I would be down for another RS DIY party.
I'm always happy to help another RS'er out. Especially those that've stuck with us for so long!

My house and 5 others just had our fences done through Premium fencing and we are very happy with their work. Ask for Andrew and tell him Geoffrey from Rowling Place referred you.
