I hope VancityBuzz will stop their horrible journalism. They were the first to leak the internal document. Suspicious activity are reported every day, some of you here may have been reported at one point in your life over nothing. A group of Chinese people hanging out at Metrotown McDonalds wearing black hoodies and smoking? That's enough to get you called in.
Now imagine VancityBuzz leaked a picture of you. There goes your reputation.
I hope VCB goes out of business and die. Not only their journalism is poor, their comment section is oppressively maintained. They ban many that offer a constructive view.

Well racial profiling does not work and that's a fact and Russia has been dealing with attacks by Muslims for years who look like the Boston bombers.

I'm not arguing that, simply pointing out that what they did is well within there legal limits BUT, again, I see the reason why there is concern.
But then you're pointing out something EVERYONE already knows and EVERYONE has taken into account. I don't see the need to point this out as if to put some people in their place or put things into perspective. The context is entirely different and people are "specifically" reacting to this particular context.
And also, you have to give people some credit. No one is saying these individuals warrant getting arrested for their actions. However, people are just saying it warrants some investigation. That's all. Although your intentions are noble, all this SJWing is doing nothing but promoting the bias and anti-Muslim sentiment because you're insinuating that these are the primary factors for such public reactions and that the public wouldn't react the same had it been Caucasians performing the same suspicious acts.
Again, no one is asking for these guys to be arrested at all unless an investigation concluded their intentions were in fact malicious.

I wonder if whoever leaked it sent it exclusively to them or if they were the first to push it out without anyone actually screening the article first? That being said I am guilty for sharing this article on facebook since they seemed to have it first before the real news outlets

Why are people getting their panties in a bunch over VCB using Middle Eastern to describe these people. When cops have suspicion on figures of interested they will label what ethnicity the person is. Fuck this age of PC. Everything sets people off as a racism or whatever. First thing I thought of was guys scoping out for a robbery. Not a terrorist plot
