This isn't Texas. The flashlight is for flashlighting purposes.

Need to find something in the back of the bed? Flashlight.
Need to walk down to white pine's beach in the middle of the night for a quick dip? Flashlight.
Need to peek at something under the truck, or under the hood? Flashlight.

Comes in handy very often.

I'm sure there are more powerful flashlights in smaller form-factors out there, but I've had this maglite for years and it works well.

Sames. Looking into seriously picking up a 4runner TRD Off-Road within the next month or two. Doesn't look like I'll be getting any sort of a deal after reading this thread though.

What about buying two brand new vehicles at once? My dad is looking into picking up a Highlander. Can any deals be had there?
