New Xiaomi 10000mah Power Bank

Just released in March. This is my 5th power bank that I will use everyday. $32cad + shipping, definitely not cheap with single USB port. It says it could charge up Macbook Air, so fair enough.

My previous power banks.
1. Cheapo 5000mah (18600 battery) - RIP
2. Xiaomi 5200mah (18600 battery) - gave it to my sister
3. Aukey 12000mah (Li-Ion)
4. Xiaomi 5000mah (Li-Ion)
5. Xiaomi (Pro version) 10000mah (Li-Ion)

vs LG V10

vs Xiaomi 5000mah

vs Aukey 12000mah QC2.0

old Xiaomi USB vs new USB Type-C charging cable. Not quite sure why type-C hasn't get popular these days.

Charging LG G4 is around 11.2watt, the voltage isn't quite stable for unknown reason. I haven't figured out why, it jumps +/-1watt

Charging iPad Air 2 only gets 1.3A = 7watt

At last, using my QC2.0 12V charger at home, it reaches 0.63-0.67A = 8W (the label shows it could reach 1.5A)
Most image hosting sites are fucking retarded, any recommended site to upload?

Theses new power banks with quick charge are pretty cool!

KMASHI is one that i've heard of also, 20,000 mAH, but at 40 USD.

I think usb type-c isn't as popular right now because it's brand new. I think it's the new replacement for USB micro-b which was pretty much the standard for the last 3 years for smartphones.

I'm hoping that they'll make cables for USB-A to type-c (USB-C). I would rather have and extra USB-A port on my laptop for charging than USB-C, that way I can use it for more devices as well. But with the size constraints of tablets and laptops these days, I don't think that's going to happen.

why do you need so many power banks? The only time I use mine is when I am traveling. Actually the last couple of times even though I have it with me I didn't use it at all when I was traveling.

When I'm at work, I use my phone a lot, like 3 hr screen times, then lunch then 4 more hours. I need it to keep in communications with other people on site.

I only use one at a time. The old one will be passed to my family members, they like to have one in their car just in case (there was no usb port in our cars). I also hooked my home cloud camera with power bank + usb outlet, so there is no downtime, my only worry is whether the battery will explode when it is charging and discharging at the same time.

None of the type c usb cable out there is USB3.1, which means you will need new cable few yrs later.
