King Crab 2016

Saw any deals? The only "deal" I see is Congee Noodle House 318 for a set dinner.

I'd like to know this as well -- from what I've seen so far, I don't think i'll be having any king crab this year.

I haven't gone out to eat Chinese much recently but the last couple places I went to only advertised set dinners with King Crab but not just the King Crap itself. Craving me some though!

Kirin is $57/lb.. but sooo good.. I looked at my notes.. last year the congee nood house deal was 268.. vs the kirin price was +/- $1

$57 is already decent! Chef Tony's in Richmond charges $75/lb!! RIDICULOUS!

Is king crab still a thing right now?
Somebody wants a send-off dinner, so I might have to do it this weekend.

If so, is T&T my best bet?
Or do you guys have any fish mongers to recommend?

Phoned today for Sun Sui Wah, Main Street.

It's $38.00 per lb.

v_tec 04-21-2016 10:55 PM

Is there even much meat left to the 5lb ones?

Vale46Rossi 05-15-2016 07:19 PM

$35 @ Red Star
