| cl63 stock subwoofer removal help
Hey guys
i just bought a 2010 cl63 and started cranking the system to hear a rattle when i took off the grill the top part of the cone was disconnected from the body
i need to take the sub out to fix it but have no idea how to i have removed the bottom seat cushion and the console i cant figure out how to remove the backrest
any help would be appreciated

Should just be a couple bolts on the bottom and possibly a few from behind (access from trunk). Some Benz's you need to remove the C-pillar trim panel to expose the bolts.
Otherwise, if you only see bolts on the bottom, loosen them and try lifting up on the backrest from the bottom. If it won't budge see what area has like zero movement, that kind of helps you figure out where the bolt placement could be.
Good luck. Hard to break a back seat considering the mounts are metal and not plastic. So don't be afraid to use a little force.
Provided the back seats don't have a power recliner (ie. alot of S-Class's), it shouldn't be too hard to figure out.
