Man pays speeding tickets in 22,000 pennies
Man gets upset for getting a $212 speeding ticket for going only 9mph over the speed limit.

He pays the fine by pennies.

It took court employees 3 hours to count them.

He over paid by $7.81, now the city owes him money.

He did 39 MPH (63 km/h) in a 30 MPH (48 km/h) zone according to a different article on the same story.

Can't say I feel sorry for the guy; it's not like he was doing, to quote Jay-Z, 55 in a 54 ...

Didn't make any sense to me when I saw it on my FB feed. Doesn't the US have some sort of law that prevents people from using coins for anything over a certain amount? I am pretty sure Canada has such a law, and the maximum amount is only something like $10.
