I spilled coffee onto exterior

So I spilled cold coffee (2 cream 2 sugar) onto my 2015 white civic. Assuming that the factory sealant is still relatively strong, as it hasn't been a year yet, should I be worried? I immediately wiped it off with some all purpose car wipes, and buffed it with a microfiber.

Should I be worried?

Thanks guys

Is this thread a joke? You spilled coffee, not hydrochloric acid, and wiped it right off. Do you really think your coffee is worse than say bird shit which is not great for your paint but happens and it's not like we all drive polka dot cars because of it.

Better worry, coffee is slightly acidic and will stain white surfaces. Ever see a coffee drinker's brilliant smile after years of coffee? Yeah, and sugar rots teeth.

Conclusion: Car's totaled; will never drive the same.

Good luck selling your car with a coffee claim on it.

^ Exactly. Your resale just shit the bed. Every time I buy a pre-owned car I check if there has been a major coffee claim on it. I walk immediately on exterior coffee claims. It's all over boyo may as well commit insurance fraud and roll it into the harbor.

Wow, the enzymes in coffee are brutal on metal. The paint will be fine, but the integrity of the metal below will be compromised. Over time, to the point certain frequencies/vibration will make you car crumble into tiny pieces. Upon impact from an accident, the car will shatter. How quickly you act is crucial. They say, if the coffee sits for any longer that two minutes in the sun, your car is toast. Shitty coffee like Timmy Ho's will damage metal even quicker.

All purpose car wipes are ok, not great.

You should consider re-waxing / sealing the panel / car after the spill and cleanup. I say this because most cars have close to nothing for factory wax and sealant after dealer treatment. Unless you had the car detailed or overpaid for dealer paint sealant, you should get the paint protected.
