The Fitbit Surge helps you train smarter and go farther. Reach your peak performance with built-in GPS and automatic, continuous heart rate tracking. You'll get real-time workout stats like pace, distance, calories burned, heart rate intensity, and target zones to make the most of your training, and it tracks your all-day stats for added health insights.
More Information
The sound of crunching gravel is music to your ears. You briefly glance at the Fitbit Surge strapped to your wrist, while keeping an eye on the uneven path. It's a nippy 6am and you're out for a run.

As your settle into your stride, your mind recalls the morning's early start: the gentle vibration on your wrist from your Surge pulling you out of your slumber and the shimmering remnants of a dream. A quick glance at your Surge as you rushed out the door confirmed you spent 8 hours in dreamland. A good night's sleep: check.

The pounding of your steadily beating heart brings you back to the present. Your Surge flashes your heart rate; you've zoned out long enough. You switch to your go-to fast jam and check your progress. At 140 beats per minute, you know there's room to push as you recall last run's stats on the online dashboard. You pump bursts of speed into your limbs, whizzing through the last hundred metre.

4:55 minutes per kilometre.

You made it.

Why you need this:

Accurate tracking: Built-in GPS tracks pace, distance, and elevation climbed, allowing you to view split times, route histories, and workout summaries.
Automatic heart rate monitoring: Continuous heart rate monitoring, directly from your wrist, accurately tracks workout intensity, training zones, and calorie burn without the need for cumbersome chest straps.
Training upgraded: No matter what your favourite fitness activity SmartTrack helps you train smarter. It automatically recognizes continuous movement, identifies the type of activity, and records it in the Fitbit app, delivering a comprehensive exercise summary. For precise tracking during workouts activate Multi-Sport modes for real-time stats on the display.

It also has a built-in stopwatch and countdown timer that you can access with a simple swipe on the touchscreen.
Stay in the know: Smartwatch features keep you posted with text and call notifications, and allow you to control your music so you pump out motivational tunes during training, work, and play.
Learn to eat, live, and sleep better: The Fitbit app and online dashboard display a real-time snapshot of your movement, showing you easy-to-read graphs, charts, and tools that make sense whether you're a rookie or a pro. Set goals, share your stats, compete with friends on the leaderboard, and earn badges for fitness milestones.
A trusty companion: Surge resists sweat and water splashes so you don't have to hold back on training when the weather is less than ideal. The rechargeable battery lasts up to 7 days on a single charge and approximately 10 hours with continuous GPS, so you can indulge on a much-needed getaway without losing sight of your fitness goals.
Connect to your digital world: With Bluetooth 4.0 technology, Surge wirelessly and automatically syncs to your computer, tablet, and iOS, Android, or Windows smartphone, as well as with popular partner apps like MyFitnessPal, so you can check your progress no matter where you are.
