holy fuck, when i heard about it last night, they weren't saying how many had died, i don't think they knew yet, so it didn't seem like a big deal, thought maybe it was a gang shooting even though they were suggesting it may be a hate crime as it happened in a gay bar... omfg 50!
and they just had that other shooting the other day which could have turned out a lot worse, where the singer Grimmie was murdered, that shooter had multiple clips and guns

whereas in the UK and US similar lgbt rights were non-existent until recently (past decade, decade and a half) it wasn't until recent years where lgbt rights surpassed those that were offered in some muslim nations and the once ottoman empire
there are other examples too, like Lebanon, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, etc., granted there are also countries which criminalize it, but the point is your statement is false
