Team Canada played hard despite the loss to Brazil in men's volleyball last night.
Those Brazilians guys can sure block, spike, and serve a volleyball. The commentator mentioned that Brazil's national teams have played a total of 100 matches in the history of the Olympics. Props to the world champs.

So far all the medals have been won by our female athletes.

Penny Oleksiak qualifies for the women's 100 metres freestyle final by setting a Canadian record of 52.72 seconds.
She certainly has the potential to do even better things in the 2020 Olympics. A 16 year old athlete who is a huge fan of Drake.
It's too bad that she was unable to buy tickets for his concert.

She'll have tons of fun and get those nerves out of the way for 2020 and 2024"
Now she's pretty much a lock for flag bearer for closing ceremonies in the first week of competition barring someone (or the women's soccer team) earning gold somewhere. Even then, I'd still give the flag to Oleksiak. Amazing story.
