Revscene Summer Meet 2016

Event: Revscene.net Summer 2016 brought to you by LORDCO
Date: August 21st Sunday
Time: 11am to 3pm
Location: Adesa (Richmond)

The main thread is here.

Pending great weather, is anybody here interested in going?

In 2013, we had a terrific turnout of bikes. in 2014 we had a few and last year virtually none (though the weather was very poor if you recall).

I came out for the 2013 meet on my bike (that's my yellow R6 up in the pics) I had a great time but hated how we were all buried between a fence and a row of cars, literally not even a walk way to check out the the other bikes. I haven't been back since but I might give it another shot on my bike if a couple of my buddies decide to bring their cars.

sorry, it was poor organization and execution on our part. I have explicitly asked for dedicated bike parking spots that allow a decent amount of room for the bikes to be in, however our media partner underestimated he area required.

we will endeavor to make it a more worthwhile experience this time.

Is there gonna be a meet up beforehand somewhere to do a roll in together?
I may be in last minute so might be good to have that info on hand.

Thanks.

So I'm in for sure. (weather dependent)

Pre-meet locations? Market crossing for those north of the Fraser and maybe those in surrey?

Excellent. Market Crossing sounds like a good idea. I'm in (depending on the weather). 10am at Market Crossing?

I will post more info as soon as I get the floor plan.

I've requested a big enough space for up to 20 bikes with room to walk around them.

Everyone meets at market before hand. Might as well just do the summer meet there.

update:

20 spots have been allocated for members of John Norwich riders corner. It's a decent space smack dab in the middle of car clubs and immediately left of the REVscene booth.

So? You'll have to park somewhere. Why not with the rest of the bikes

the roll in times (according to blitzgear) is between 10:10 to 10:30 am

I wouldn't fret over it that much, bikes are much easier to navigate than a row of cars.

fyi.

you can always park your bike in the bike section to free up another spot for your friends Henry. Unless all your friends are riding to the meet as well, then just park all the bikes in the bike section.

just a suggestion.

There should be plenty of room, even for the scooters. I'll adjust as required.
