The RS keeper league allows each manager to select 7 skaters (any position) and 1 goalie to carry over to the upcoming season. I ended up keeping Ovechkin, Stamkos, Tavares, Burns, Subban, Panarin, Klingberg, and Andersen.
The rest of the players that I didn't keep (as well as the other managers) gets put back into the free agent pool where we draft from.

Well unless the new guys get good keepers, I look forward to not being in last place, 
But the keeper team I took over  no wonder he left.... 
Happy I got to get a couple good ones from drafts last year though

I was in the keeper pool when it started.
I had 1st pick overall and had Crosby. I forgot to renew my team at the end of the year
