Nicolas Winding Refn (Director of Drive, Valhalla Rising, Only God Forgives)

What is everyone's opinion of this director?

Nicolas Winding Refn's movies:
Bronson
Valhalla Rising
Drive
Only God Forgives
The Neon Demon

I've seen all his movies except his newest "The Neon Demon" and I feel he had a great thing going until he made "Only God Forgives" which apparently ruined his career.

I haven't watched "The Neon Demon" but I've read the reviews that its just as terrible as "Only God Forgives."

He started out strong with "Bronson" and made two masterpieces in "Valhalla Rising" and "Drive."

Has anyone watched his newest movie? Is it worth a view? I just don't want to sully my already poor opinion of this director after the garbage he made with "Only God Forgives."

Incredibly stylized, don't blame anyone for not liking him. I enjoy his movies as I like a movie that looks amazing and takes its time

He makes art-house films, they're not for everyone. I thought Drive was pretty cool, Only God Forgives was a bit odd, and Valhalla Rising was just boring lol

I didn't mind "Only god forgives". Plot is weak but its a art film and more about the visuals than actual story line. But last week i watched "Neon demon" and all i could think of is WTF did I just watch? Haha buddy must have been on some serious drugs when he made that one. 0/10 would not bang. :heckno:
