Red light camera

I was turning left at Kingsway and Willingdon crossing at Burnaby while it was yellow and probably turning red, I blindly followed the car infront of me. I saw the opposite side camera light flashing twice infront of me. So I guess I got caught :'(
What are the penalty/fine/point? How do I pay?
Anyone wanna share their experience?

The cameras are setup to take a picture of the rear plate of the car.
You would have seen the flash in your rearview.

Also I believe they have more locations for red light camera's than they have actual camera's. The flash always goes off, but there may not have been a camera in the box to capture you plate. So you might still get lucky. Atleast this is what was previously posted on RS, personally don't know.

You could bribe them into lowering or eliminating the fine. Seems to be common practice in the red light camera industry...

The red light camera bribery scandal will not be going away any time soon. John Bills, the former Chicago, Illinois transportation official convicted of taking $2,032,959 in bribes from Redflex Traffic Systems of Australia appealed his ten-year prison sentence to the Seventh Circuit US Court of Appeals on Saturday.

In 2003, Bills asked Redflex to hire an unemployed friend, Martin O'Malley, to deliver cash in return for his help in securing the nation's most lucrative red light camera contract. On Monday, US District Judge Virginia M. Kendall imposed a six-month prison sentence on O'Malley.
