if you tell me how I could probably do it. The only thing is though, I only have the Adobe Photoshop, the basic one and can't for the life of me figure out how to do it.

Open up photoshop.
Click on the file tab (top left) then click on open.
Select the image file you want to resize.
Now, with the image open in photoshop, click on the image tab (top left, 3rd from right) then click on image size
Adjust the width to like 400 pixels then it should be a good size.
After that, just save as and your done.
