I don't think it really can. Naruto is supposed to go train under Jiraiya and Sakura under Tsunade, so it'd be impossible for her to do that if she's with Naruto and Jiraiya.

But then again, they will probably split up, and I hope they do show their training! Because it's very sudden in the manga, as it cuts straight 2.5 years.

i like how it does skip that 2.5 years cause everythign they do is a surprise again, like the oodama rasengan or how naruto can use the red chakra effortlessly. i think the anime should focus on the support characters while the manga builds.

orochimaru is just using his face...the body is not his...only his soul, we never actually saw orochimaru's true body as he was already inside one else's when he was introduced.

^when they had those flashbacks of him as a little kid being trained by the third...he has the same look as he did when he was introduced...
