It means a more mature Naruto voice, therefore a signifier of Naruto returning to the Leaf after the 3 years of training! Which means end of the fillers!

hmm, why couldn't they have continued w/ the current voiceactor? in anime, they usually keep the same VA regardless of the character's age (ie. dragonball)

and goku when he was little did have a difference voice actor then adult goku

he's going from 13->16. it's better that they have a deeper voice for him. i wonder if they new GUY is going to say dattebayo all the time too or not.

nope, same voice actor in Japan. She did young goku, old goku, young gohan, old gohan, and goten.
