parking with no power steering is a good workout. espicially trying to park with 255 wide tires.

I would forget about putting all of your savings into a car. A car is absolutely the worst investment you can make. A car does not make the man.

typo. 225.

FaT-DrunK 07-16-2004 09:00 PM

what procedure did you go through to get your car LittleDragon?

did you Ebay it? what would I need to do in order to get a car from the states back here?

i just took the time to do currency exchange, and the canadian dollar to american is .76387 or soemthing..

impactX 07-16-2004 10:47 PM

I am not trying to be a jackass; but you need to get over your "trying to prove something" mentality. In two years, I am sure that you will regret the decision of buying an MR2 just to prove a point.

Stop caring about what the "fuckers" think.

It's like you're at the bottom of a well, and the light above you is the "Real World".

Keep clawing at the walls in vain.

oldsnail 07-17-2004 10:44 AM

i think the mr2 is not just abt fast..
when u drive down the street , u get more heads than an eg for sure..
even when u say mr2 and civic, mr2 will sound cooler. :)

Yipster 07-18-2004 01:15 AM

the experience of driving a mr2 is all that matters i say

anyother car i drive now feels pretty bad

mr2 is the 1st step into the sports car world

want me a nsx next if i could :D

!LittleDragon 07-18-2004 01:19 AM

One more thing to add.... if you've never driven a mid engine car before... BUY A FIERO FIRST!!!! If you can drive that for 2 years without spinning out and hitting a pole, then get an MR2.

FaT-DrunK 07-18-2004 02:16 PM

i saw ur MR2 when u were leaving the meet yesterday little dragon

gotta say.. that colour makes me want a MR2 even more :D

RabidRat 07-18-2004 02:24 PM

what car are you coming from?

I went from a Maxima to my Mk1, and it's a whooooole new experience for me =)

FaT-DrunK 07-18-2004 02:44 PM

a 4 door turquoise 97 sunfire

pulls REALLLY good. The crappy all seasons let the car slide like 2-3 feet making a right turn going at 30...

its got realllly good pull for a SOHC though..

my 93 civic can keep up with my 91 mr2, and its sohc

FaT-DrunK 07-18-2004 08:17 PM

but I actually have torque...?

fuzebox 07-18-2004 09:00 PM

But you don't have any money, any driving experience, and any mechanical aptitude. I'll put $100 on the fact that'll you either blow your car up or wreck it within 30 days of modding it (see tegman :lol)
