nothing was mentioned in the manga about their whereabouts either.

it's like the best anime I have EVER seen

I read the manga up to the Hueco Mundo part and the whole issue with Orihime. I really wish I hadn't spoiled it for myself because the anime is way more entertaining...

i thought these guys are suppose to be stronger than captains!

that guy was the weakest of them all (supposely) and Rukia have regain her full power back.

i was like "fuck yeah!" when he said it. but i think they shouldn't do that for too many ppl as it will be become "nothing special" and gets played out. kinda like how everyone was turning super saiyan in dragonball Z

119 is a filler is it not? i dont remember reading that in the manga... the story of ikkaku's past, kinda boring

what the hell.. ? so if ikkaku had bankai before he fought ichigo.... why didn't ikkaku win ? o_O

I don't remember this episode in the comic either. They also turned Renji into a vagina. It's already bad enough that his bankai is pretty useless. And Ikkaku isn't wearing any pants :lol

it also smells like a filler, so it's not really going to go with the rest of the story line

i figure ikkaku didn't use his bankai against ichigo, because he didn't see him as such a big threat -- and it would kind of be an insult to himself if he couldn't beat him without using it -- his bankai is only a LAST resort.

remember, ichigo at that point in time, was probably only as strong as a vice captain -- NOWHERE near the strength of the arrancar. at no point in time was ikkaku ever really afraid of ichigo, but the second the arrancar released -- ikkaku thought he was dead.
