Shot this for a local automotive shop that wanted some pictures of their customers cars.

This was shot with all ambient light.

Sorry I just saw this. But what I'd do for that shot is technically use the cross processing technique.

Here's a good link posted by someone else,

Play with the white balance to get it not so yellow like 1exotic said. Also, the photo is crooked :)

Dangerphoto 11-19-2010 12:09 AM

^ I kinda like the yellow...I did play with the colours a bit and it looked too boring and normal =P

Thanks for the comments tho!

i think this will do it (in ps cs5):

color adjust layer
-up the yellow in highlights
-up the green in mid tones
-up the cyan in shadows

hue/saturation layer
-up the lightness

curves layer
-slight s-curve

and as for that glare, if it's not there in the picture you can create it it by painting a yellow (use a color that you want the glare to be, in this case the morning sun), then reduce opacity until happy, apply inverse mask, then use a very large 0% hardness brush to paint in the glare on the mask.

that should give u similiar results to that picture. Key thing is playing with the color adjust layer.

Found a creepy spot great for photos. Some shots of the S.

Warehouse was black, no ambient light. 30 second exposure, 1 SB800, multiple flashes in area's that I chose
