Chroming plastic parts

Does anyone know where to get this done?

Also, has anyone ever tried that chrome spray paint? Is that stuff any good and how is the result?

Thanks!

Can't really plate metal on plastic though.

Get some real chrome paint.

There is a shop in Mission that specializes in plastic chome plating. Does a lot of musclecar parts and stuff like that.

Yup, the guy's name is Chuck and the procedure is called vacuum plating. Not really meant for outdoor use though. Can't remember the name of his company. he works out of his house.

For real Plastic Chrome plating it has to be sent down to California to be done.

found this thread from searching and thought I'd ask here for some updates.

I have a set of headlights and I just need the projector rings redone. They don't have to be perfect like chrome I just want some shine to it since spray paint looks flat and dull.

Anyone recommend any places?
