good news, it's not an M5. sure it has the quad pipes, but they're smaller than the stock M5 tips. Dead giveaway are the mirrors. plus it's missing the slight flares the fenders have as well as the M5 vent on the front fender.

:notbad: i know my bimmers.

Nah, even then matte black should be reserved solely for rat rods and only done with paint, not removable stickers. :p

It's probably more expensive to de-rice the yellow integra than to buy one that's already stock :lawl:

for those who dont know... plastidip dosnt stand up well to gas... the owner of that x5 should slow down while removing the gas nozzle in the future

meme405 09-17-2013 01:43 PM

Is it just me or does that dip job look terrible. It almost looks like rhino lining. Dip Normally looks pretty good in pictures, but that just doesnt.

In other news MM-Designs managed to get their hands on one of the new range rovers, its wrapped in half orange half weird wavy black stripes. No pictures but it sure as hell looked retarded.

fliptuner 09-17-2013 01:59 PM

the dip job on that X5 reminds me of the Wolly Mammoth

No one over the age of 16 should drive that thing^

I gotta know, what's with all the hate for vinyl wraps? Done properly, they can look pretty nice. When it comes down to it, it's all subjective, but I find it hard to believe that almost everyone on this forum subjectively has a limpy for vinyl jobs. Don't get me wrong, I've seen some hideous wraps on this thread, but vinyl = fob/rice? I don't know.

J.C 09-17-2013 05:06 PM

i love vinyl wraps, it's just that so many are done poorly :heckno:
i'm planning on wrapping my car eventually

I don't think so either. It looks unique, I like certain aspects of the colour juxtaposition, and I could do with a few modifications to the scheme--but overall, I think it looks alright. Just my 2 cents...or, I guess now-a-days, that'd be nothing, since it'd get rounded to 0.

Is it just a really dark matte? I feel like I really need to stroke the furry car, all of a sudden.

No, sorry...but that IS hall of shame materials.

P.S: Stop creating new accounts.

Wow, your obviously completely objective statement has changed my perspective on this vehicle. I'm sure nothing about your personal style would ever be considered tacky by anyone else.

Stop creating new accounts? Are you a child? Whether or not I am actually creating new accounts has nothing to do with you. Hey, stop telling people to stop creating new accounts (see, that really has nothing to do with me either, unless it's directed towards me).

Edit: Oops, sorry, I take that back. You make pretty tacky, lame, joke posts: http://www.revscene.net/forums/68297...ml#post8212407

Wow so one person posted a car that may straddle the line for HOS material or not. Many of the other cars have earned their position here.

And not everyone on RS hates vinyl wraps, in fact many members here have their cars wrapped or dipped, and nobody (relative) makes fun of them.

The problem is when tools like the people from MM-designs come up with retarded designs like that galaxy wrapped GTR, or their horrid attempts on those black on red BMW's. Or when they plastidip stock wheels on X3's and 328's fluorescent orange and pink. That shit is just tacky and makes no sense.

I'm not defending the bad wrap jobs on here. I'm just saying it should take more for someone to put something in the HOS. While it's all subjective, I think there is some sort of "common sense" as to what is considered "shameful". I'm sure I could find a bunch of vinyl cars on this thread that the owners put a lot of thought and money into; then they stroll onto this thread and see their cars here?

I wouldn't consider that Audi "straddling" the line at all. If you think so, I don't believe you know what the word "shame" means. I'm not going to bother posting the multitude of fairly decent looking cars on this thread, but I'm sure at some point, you've though, naw, that looks alright to me.
