Mazda Mechanic

Hey,

Anyone know of any places (non-dealership) that specialize (or at least have a lot of experience) with Mazdas? I have a mazda3 and the 3-year warranty is just about to end in a few months.

Until now, I've been taking it into the dealership for all service. The price for regular minor service isn't so bad, but the major services just seem excessive.

There seem to be a lot of honda specialist places around, but I can't find any for Mazdas.

I prefer to avoid the big chains after seeing crap like this:

Finally, please don't bother with the obligatory "just buy a manual and do it yourself" response that I see in so many other threads.

Thanks.

Wow, thanks for the link to eunos. Has anyone ever dealt with them? Can anyone vouch for them?

Thanks, I'll keep eunos in mind. Unfortunately, it's a bit of a drive out to north-van for me.

As per dangonay's message up top - If I don't really need a Mazda specialist, then does anyone have any recommendations for a shop in Richmond or southern Van? I'm not looking for the cheapest place, but rather a shop with a rock-solid reputation with honest people running ths show. I'm not a car expert so finding someone I can trust is important.

Oddly enough, I am in the same boat - also in south Van and looking for a good shop around here. Just bought an RX-8 and want to avoid the dealers, unless I have no other choice (way out of warranty - 2004)

Thanx....and how's this for an old thread bump!?

For rotaries, I would suggest Tekam in Burnaby. Heard nothing but good things about them.

Wow! Fellow night owls! Thanx guys. Anyone have experience with Eunos (as mentioned above........4 years ago!!)?

Inaii 02-24-2010 02:40 AM
