DKC is awesome and everything, but the controls when you use a GC controller are a little difficult :/
The Y and B buttons are a bit far from each other, and awkward to use together (you have to press/hold them at the same time frequently).
Gotta run to FS/BB ASAP and get me a classic controller so it can feel just like the original SNES version  |

The only one of those that is ACTUALLY a game made and built for Wii is Sonic & The Secret Rings 
The rest are as follows:
New Adventure Island = TurboGrafx-16
Donkey Kong Country = SNES
Streets of Rage = Sega Genesis
Legend of Kage = NES

check rogers video stores around for wiimotes and nunchuks
i got my wii and controllers on monday night, 20 mins before closing at the north burnaby one. they had 2 wii and 4 controllers sitting there all day.

Anyone bought those rechargeable batteries for the Wiimote yet?
Saw a 3rd party Rechargeable at Best Buy the other day
basically it replaces the battery cover on the original Wiimotes with the Rechargeable/lithium batteries attach to it
it also comes with a docking station..
on sale for $30 or something.. kinda hesitant to pick it up due to being a 3rd party.... and its bad enough that its not madcatz or any of those crap accessories...... its unheard of company..

Exactly. Get some 2500 mAH AA's for like $10. Only issue is they are quite a bit heavier than normal AA's and these lithium packs

The Game is Intresting..... i dont like the jumping though... its not too hard to get used to the controls... the story line is making me go wtf though... its weird.... and the graphics are ok... when you go inbetween levels how they go on from the story sucks its just a picture and a someone telling you...
so far its alright though...

My original Wii unit had a memory problem and I took it to Nintendo and they replaced it free under warranty. They gave me a brand new console and managed to transfer all my data - HOWEVER... I wasn't able to edit my Mii's on the new console 
So I basically said fuck it and just sold it all away in hopes I'd find another Wii soon and just mod it.
Unfortunately, I've been looking and it seems like there are less and less chances of getting a Wii. Guy at superstore said the Nintendo rep told them it'll probably be 2 months until you can walk into a store and pick one up.
On a brighter note: I got a mod for my NDS! Something to hold me over till I get another Wii

There's no seal on the Wii box, if memory serves me correctly... (ie: no sticker, unlike the PS3)

i believe there was a blue sticker that you had to cut to open the box. Not to mention how everything is placed and wraped around so carefully. I can barely put the 2 blue boxes and manuals in the main box, let alone the console again.
