n95 will run the same processor as n93 with s60 Feature pack 1 symbian 9.2 The new FP1 with S9.2 is said to make all the device run smooth and fast. |
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y30...1164673464.jpg as far as i know... N95 is same as N93.. but different kinda look ( i kinda like the dual sliding btw) and a little faster...and 5m camera. 3G i dont see any point of getting this then a N73 Black? beside u want the camera...and bettter 3G camera.... they said they are running Symbian S60 3rd Edition ??? i dont know is that ture or not though. |
how is the gps on it..? what about the other functions on it? |
SE3P-T S603rd ed Fp1 Symbian9.2 has a big different to a normal s60 3rd ed Symbian 9.0 don't get deceived by its UI. and yes as far as i know n93 and n95 has same processor. |

cuz i dont like symbian's... lol.. |
i never liked symbian before cause my 1st symbian was 3220... and it was slow and it sucked so bad but then when i had the n73 when it 1st came out it was better but still slow especially camera starting and taking pics (takin pics is about the same as my 903 but start up is so damn long) but i know of n73's newest fw is a lot better but still after twice u dont really go back |
because N73 still uses the same old processor as the 6630 days (220 mhz). its the new symbian 9 version, s60 3rd ed that made it damn fast. only n93 and the newly upcoming n95 uses this new processor and graphic chip and with this newest new version im pretty sure this new s60 upcoming smartphone will be as fast as a normal nokia or se phone. |
Glad to see I'm not the only Dopod owner :D Dopod D810 3.5G phone :D Also brand new hehe. And soon to be flashed to enable hidden GPS module. http://asia.cnet.com/i/r/2006/hh/39272188/sc001.jpg Quote:

^ i almost got that one.. but i decided i like the 838 better.. dont know why :P one question here have UMTS Service???? i was in bby today.. my GRPS changed into UMTS service @_@ |
UMTS? It shouldn't be active? I forget when we're supposed to get it but I don't think it's this soon. And I belive the UMTS band we're using is not compatible. BCRdukes or someone else would know better. |
it shouldnt be active yet we're doing testing currently but still shouldnt be open for use |
^cuz when i was in bby last night.. i was logining on my msn... the "G" changed into "U"... i double checked is UMTS.. not GPRS.. :( |
um.... a U eh? for a bit or for a long time? cause all hsdpa phoens can find the signal but just cant connect |
^ Long time |
wow u must be lucky =P |
but i dont know how mjuch they will charge me though :( |
Well seeing as it's not available to the public yet and there are not rates published they really can't charge you. just complain haha |
many people in eastern canada have reportingly been able to obtain UMTS speeds on their cellphone when it says U instead of G.. |
i dont want the "U" i want the 3G -_-v... |

So you're saying you could use your phone as a navigation? |
Yup. I have tomtom and iguidance gps software installed on it now. Works fairly well except in downtown where it's not as accurate due to all the buildings. |
