If the goverment decides to say, put up pay parking areas, why should you not pay it? You're clearly in violation of the law! And what happens when you don't pay it? Collection agencies, court, etc... So why should it be any different for a parking space at UBC? Do you not also realize that you are neglecting not only UBC but you are also neglecting everyone else who is paying for their ticket? Now, you were talking about being fair, how is that even REMOTELY fair? Because you're a cheap ass and won't pay but everyone else has to? Let me think about that and see if I change my point of view.
If you don't want to pay, SIMPLE: Just don't park there; Utilize your UPass. Other than that, follow the god damn rules or pay the fine that you so richly deserve. | ok, its my fault, I said I wanted an engaging and articulate response. I completely forgot to ask for intelligence... even if i did, I have my doubts as to whether you would be able to deliver.
where to start??...hmm, well firstly, is this response even to me? is it? because 1/ i never said he shouldn’t pay for it. which makes your entire post pointless. I said he has the right to challenge its validity. let me put it in language you can understand: if he doesnt think its fair, he should go through the steps that are needed to voice his opinion.
2/ 'cheap ass'? this makes me chuckle, because I pay for parking all the time. A champion of rights, isn’t necessarily a law breaker.
I was going to continue, but honestly, your post doesnt deserve anything more than the above. no offence. But thank you for a longer reply. A for effort. |
