I like that super small place near the entrance at crystal mall, near the escalators to the food court. fresh strawberry/mango slush without pearl is $3 or $3.5 |
bubbletopia i think it's called on granville n 70th ish, right next to bubble world |
BBT Well went to Tapioca Express yesterday, and would have to say was expensive, had a Peach black tea with small pearls (large size), was 4.77$ with tax. I also haven't seen any other place have a choice of "small or large cup", everywhere else I know its all large for one price. |
^ lol ... a lot of places have different sized cups ex. pearl castle in Richmond... fairly expensive as well but lots of eye candy (at least the times I went) |
L&G on Granville and 41st or Dragon ball on Oak and King Ed. Both of those pleaces are good.. but if you want awesome, you should only go to Captain Happy Bubble. IMHO, best fucking place ever. Cat's tea house licks cock. I went there for a total of 5 times and never went back. Overpriced, tastes like ass, and people keep staring you down whenever you walk in. I swear, unless you walk in with a big group of people, the entire place goes quiet and people stare you down the second you open the door. It's like a fucking cult there for the Hongers at DT. I'm not bashing the people who go there since I know a couple of people who frequented that place, but seriously. Highschools over, stop staring people down as if your mom just stormed in because you stole her car again. If I wanted overpriced shit with bubbles and a straw, I would go to the place on 41st and Vic. Captain Happy Bubble FTW. |
The place by Joyce stn always takes forever to make drinks, and they always fuck up your order even after repeating it to them and making sure they heard right. But it's good bubble tea otherwise. |

Bubbletopia on Granville at 63 (Beside Bubbleworld) Best bubbletea i've ever had. Cheap too. |
I was at Captain Happy Bubble again today, they have 8 new flavors, I couldn't read the signs but they weren't there last week. The topless BBT girls weren't in there today either, can anyone confirm if they still work certain days? |
Quote:
OMG, 8 new flavours? fresh or powdered? I was told by my honger friend that one of the girls got boobie cancer:( |
