When I looked at the menu, thought that it was some made up recipe.
Somebody else got them and they smelled really good. Had to get them.

I think the first fry before panko and batter was done at ultra-high heat. Squab is so thin it would cook way too fast if it was just 375. I'm guessing it was flash fried closer to 425 or 450 and only for a few seconds. Has anybody done chinese yeem gook gai? Is it fried super hot too?

Still scratching my head on the spices though. It's definitely 5-spice and white pepper, garlic powder and powdered ginger? :suspicious:

Lol I'm piecing it all together and I'm seeing that this place actually exists or existed at least. Probably shut down a couple times due to popularity and caught on the cops. I'm guessing now it's only a place and location for people who know where it is and will keep their mouths quiet about it.
