In those days, we could only dream of having a Zack Morris phone. That's what made it a Zack Morris phone. |
First phone of course on contract: Motorola T192 dumped it after a year or so and cancelled my contract with Rogers and switched to Fido. Never got any contract phone after. Motorola V66 - White Samsung S200 - Red SE T630 Samsung E600 Nokia 6270 SE W810 - White Nokia N91 Sharp 902 - Olive Green Sharp 902 - White SE K800 - Black Sharp 904 - Black Samsung U600 - Bronze/Gold SE K800 - Copper Nokia E71 NAM Nokia N96 - All black SE X1 Xperia - Black HTC G1 Google Phone - White (T-mobile version) Blackberry Bold 9000 iPhone 3GS - White Nokia N97 NAM - White wow that was fun looking through gsmarena for my old phones. I'm sure I've missed one or two but these are all I can remember for now :) |
Merged the threads. You can now share your phonewhoring ways at your leisure! :D I'm going to see how long I can keep using the N97 for hahaha (four months and counting hahah)! |
I couldn't stand it after using for like a week...... |
Really? Why so? |
build quality and basically S60.... been out of the scene too long and it's really hard for me to get back into S60 |
The thing's no E71 or 2G iPhone, but it's still built pretty well. At least mine is. :p S60 is ugly, somewhat slow but incredibly capable and, I just realized, never actually failed me. Kinda like a somewhat cute librarian chick. |
Yes I have to agree with you. From what I've used E71 and N91 had the best built quality out of nokia phones. I just can't freaking stand the little creacky plasticy sound they make. Kinda like a pet peeve I have. S60 is too damn boring BUT does everything it does very well. Wish that nokia can one day turn their cute librarian chick into a sexy cat. lol What's your take on the N900? |
My take on the N900: Wait for a proper NAM version and more firmware updates....so it can be used while closed and in portrait mode hahaha :lol |
Started fairly later on in the game as I am not that old. Motorola V3 black(hated it, but got for free) Sony Ericsson k800i Motorola A1200 Nokia N80 Nokia N73 Sharp 903sh(favorite phone of all) iPhone 2g Sharp 904sh(used for very long time) Samsung g800(used for less then a week, went back to 904sh and sold) iPhone 3g Nokia N97-1 |

Wow, some of you guys went through TONS of phones. Nokia 3390 - 2002 - finally got a cell phone, yay! :D Motorola C333 - 2004 - POS, flawed battery, lasted about 5 minutes per charge Motorola V60 - 2004 - replacement for C333, bought off a buddy Siemens M55 - 2005 - POS with retarded blinky lights, phone literally fell apart Sony Ericsson T200 - 2006 - donated from friends after M55 broke. VERY decent but crazy old phone. Samsung SPH-M500 - 2007 - POS, kept dropping calls, battery dropped to 15 mins LG Xenon - 2009 - POS. Finally jumped to 3G. 1st one lasted 12 days (display broke), replaced under warranty. 2nd one lasted about 20 days; display broke again in the exact same spot. Nokia 6350 - 2009 - got a refund on the Xenon. No more Korean phones for me. Moral of the story? The "free" phones that come with contracts suck crap. |
