EDIT 2: NEVER MIND FOUND IT

http://www.revscene.net/forums/showthread.php?t=487848

So...should I merge them all into one ugly thread stretching back to 2003?

EDIT 3: Aw heck, may as well post my own as of today.

From 2002-2006, I was nabbing my parents' phones or using free phones from carriers:
Nokia 6185 (Telus)
Nokia 3590 (Rogers AT&T, still using the same phone number and SIM card today!)
Nokia 3120 (Rogers Wireless, with a ton of faceplates, ha!)
Sony Ericsson T68i (cousin's old phone, only used it for a month during my May 2006 stay in Hong Kong)

And here are the ones that I actually bought, from July 2006 onwards:
palmOne Treo 650 (with custom short antenna, custom firmware)
Palm Treo 650 Black Tie Edition (with custom short antenna, custom firmware)
Palm Treo 680 (orange, factory unlocked, direct from Palm)
Sharp WX-T71 (orange, Taiwanese version of the Sharp 703SH)
Sharp 902SH (originally green, previous owner painted it purple and painted over everything, I switched it to a new white housing, Hong Kong firmware)
Nokia E61i (original silver/black colour, Asian firmware)
Motorola ROKR E6 (modded to quad-band)
Palm Treo 750v (U.K. Vodafone, testing only)
Palm Treo 750 (Cingular-branded, testing only)
Sharp 903SH (white, Hybrid firmware)
Sharp 903SH (red, first one, Hybrid firmware)
Vodafone v1605 VPA Compact III/HTC Hermes (testing only)
T-Mobile Wing/HTC Herald (very briefly)
T-Mobile MDA Vario II/HTC Hermes (T-Mobile UK version, came with WinMob 5.0, modded to custom Windows Mobile 6.0)
Samsung U600 (Sapphire Blue)
Sharp 903SH (red, second one, Hybrid firmware)
Sharp 903SH (red, Euro firmware)
Sharp 903SH (black, U.K. Euro firmware)
Sharp 903SH (black, U.K. Euro firmware)
Sharp 903SH (black, U.K. Euro firmware)
Sharp 903SH (black, U.K. Euro firmware)
Sony Ericsson K550i (white, used very briefly)
Apple iPhone 8GB (originally 1.0 firmware, currently 3.2.1)
Samsung A736 (for testing, early and buggy Rogers Wireless firmware)
RIM BlackBerry 8700r (for testing)
Sharp 904SH (violet Vodafone Japan version, had the baby blue one and black ones before as well, but never used them as no unlock was available then)
Sharp AQUOS 920SH (gold)
LG Shine TU270 (silver, for testing, Rogers Wireless firmware)
Sony Ericsson W810i (white, for testing, Rogers Wireless firmware)
Nokia 6086 (silver, for testing Rogers Talkspot, seemed to be T-Mobile USA firmware)
Panasonic VIERA P905i (red)
NEC N905i (silver, helped someone buy it)
Sharp AQUOS SH906i (blue)
Nokia E71-2 (NAM 3.5G version, Grey Steel)
Nokia E51-1 (custom White/Black Steel housing mix, Made in China ver.)
Nokia N96-3 (NAM 3.5G version, Warm Titanium)
Nokia E71-2 (White Steel, custom Red/Black Steel, Bronze Steel)
Motorola V70 (prototype North American ver.)
Motorola V80 (played around with... then sold)
EMOBILE S22HT Dual Diamond by HTC (in white, a.k.a. the HTC S740)
HTC S743 (NAM HTC S740)
Nokia E51-1 (custom Red/Black Steel, full gold, White Steel, Made in Finland)
Nokia N85-3 (Copper, custom red/copper)
Nokia N97-3 (Black)

In those days, we could only dream of having a Zack Morris phone. That's what made it a Zack Morris phone.

The thing's no E71 or 2G iPhone, but it's still built pretty well. At least mine is. S60 is ugly, somewhat slow but incredibly capable and, I just realized, never actually failed me. Kinda like a somewhat cute librarian chick.

Yes I have to agree with you. From what I've used E71 and N91 had the best built quality out of nokia phones. I just can't freaking stand the little creacky plasticy sound they make. Kinda like a pet peeve I have.
S60 is too damn boring BUT does everything it does very well.
Wish that nokia can one day turn their cute librarian chick into a sexy cat. lol
What's your take on the N900?

My take on the N900: Wait for a proper NAM version and more firmware updates....so it can be used while closed and in portrait mode hahaha

Wow, some of you guys went through TONS of phones.

Nokia 3390 - 2002 - finally got a cell phone, yay!
Motorola C333 - 2004 - POS, flawed battery, lasted about 5 minutes per charge
Motorola V60 - 2004 - replacement for C333, bought off a buddy
Siemens M55 - 2005 - POS with retarded blinky lights, phone literally fell apart
Sony Ericsson T200 - 2006 - donated from friends after M55 broke. VERY decent but crazy old phone.
Samsung SPH-M500 - 2007 - POS, kept dropping calls, battery dropped to 15 mins
LG Xenon - 2009 - POS. Finally jumped to 3G. 1st one lasted 12 days (display broke), replaced under warranty. 2nd one lasted about 20 days; display broke again in the exact same spot.
Nokia 6350 - 2009 - got a refund on the Xenon. No more Korean phones for me.

Moral of the story? The "free" phones that come with contracts suck crap.
