nope, that's why i asked. I got lured into Godfather for the supposed GTA style game play and got jewed.

ah, should of stuck with Mafia, greatest game ever made with its story.

Why not go buy just cause 2. Its out and will be much better than Mafia 2.

maybe gameplay wise..but mafia 2's storyline will probably be far superior

i didn't buy JC2 yet just cause i thought maybe blowing things up will get old half way thru the game.

Ya i dont buy games for storylines i buy them for fun factor.
With 104 vehicles, 384 missions, 2700 collectible items, countless hours of fucking around you cant go wrong with JC2. Im 18 hours deep and only done 21%. Game is well worth the money if you enjoy GTA, SR2, Mafia, godfather type games. It puts any of those to shame.

Demo is out, anyone play it yet?

Just finished playing the demo off Steam.

Game is fun but the driving is really heavy so it takes a little while to get use to. I have to get a new video card if I want to run it at decent FPS. My 8800GT ran at a score of "E" :lol

edit: screw it there's 99% chance i'll get this game..demo will just spoil singleplayer only games

Demo is only ~10 minutes of actual game time. There's a timer on there and you do the "Fat Man" mission so you can't really drive around in free roam without losing out on the mission.

If you get it for 360/PS3 then that's fine but if you get it for PC then you will want to install the demo. My 8800GT was chugging along really badly.

If you check out the steam forums, there's a way to freeze the timer so you can roam around as much as you want

I have an 8800GTS and it seems to be alright, just above 30 fps average when I ran the benchmark

how do you guys feel about the demo?
