I need to get some exhaust work done.. can anyone recommend me a reputable mufflershop with resonable prices? thanks.

im about to get mine done soon, too. im going back to mufflerman. i had a good experienced with them before.

when I went a couple weeks back, muffler tech wanted to charge me 400 bucks for a 25 dollar job.. ive gone there once in the past before and it was a bloody rip off but not nearly as bad as it was gonna be this time.. and even last time i would just see the guys in the back walking around and talking, taking there time to finish because i bet the boss who is always there, tells his workers to take there sweet time to finish so they can milk more money outta ya.. fucking asshole!.. i hope that bastard reads this.. DONT GO THERE! +1 for muffler man tho!! awesome place, i will never go anywhere else from now on

Went to Muffler man today to get my exhaust relocated,

basically got there at 12, was told to me wait 45 minutes, waited about 65, not really a big deal they can't help it. Afterwards they tell me what they're going to do, and told me to go to lordco to get the part, which i couldnt' figure out why they didn't just get them to deliver it. since it would take me twice as long. get back wait another 60-70 minutes, and watch as 3 customers go in ahead of me, at which point i was pissed off, so i went up to the guy who was in charge and he said, oh just one second.

afterwards all the work he said he was going to do, couldn't be done because the exhaust guy said it wouldn't be ppossible due to my drive shaft, at which point he said it was a shit system. not mad at him though, it was just his opinion. BTW the system is an APEX'i N1 evo

so after waiting there for a bit more than 2.5 hours all i get is a we can't do it.

the thing that pissed me off was he said he could do it, have to personally go get the part, i wait more than an hour, watch peopel go ahead of me. and in the end they can't do it.


albiet they were short staffed, and the boss wasn't there, but shit what a fucking waste of time and a shitty experience, wasted my entire afternoon sitting in their cold ass waiting room.

I got a cat-back system installed on my Saturn at Hoeglers, very helpful, booked me a time convenient for me. I would definetly go back there next time I need exhaust work done. A few of my friends have also had good exhaust work done there and all have said good things.

What's the pricing on muffler jobs at mufflerman??

I had an Apexi N1 put on my CRX a few years ago at Quiet Muffler (Kingsway, across from High Gate Mall/MiddleGate Honda). Nice welds, nice angle, pretty quick service.

planning to cut off aftermarket exhaust and weld the stock one back onto my car

hoeglers on 3 rd. is very good. they fixed my bent exhaust. i thought it was a little expensive but they sure know what they are doing in there. they were doing custom exhaust on a few cars when i was in there. i would go back anyday.

+1 for Mufflerman. Read through the threads and thought I'd give him a try and was worth it, great service and will go there again.
