how much does used transmission cost for 1997 5th gen honda prelude ?manual
 

hi, can anyone recommend a shop or anyone that may carry a 1997 honda prelude 5th gen manual-5-speen type sh engine+transmission


USA or JDM

whats the pro and cons of installing a JDM prelude engine ...what kind of problems may occur during installation ...

would it also matter if the type SH engine i have has that "ATTS unit and would that interfere or cause instalation problems with a jdm engine install ?

hmm, ur atts system may complicate things as i believe that was on the tranny, but i heard the engines were also slightly different.

LSD Was an option.

ATTS Blocks dont have bolt holes for the intermediate shaft.

is the intermediate shaft the only problem?

Yes, its the only problem if your trying to put a std trans on an ATTS block. Obviously there may ECU issues depending on whatever it is your doing.
