Anywho, yeah my co workers are sorta kinda annoyed that I keep asking them to borrow a few minor tools so I think I'm just gonig ot head out this weekend to go tool shopping. Fuck, tools are such expensive investment.

Tim Budong 06-14-2008 06:30 PM

Yeah man, argh just makes me even more frustrated about tools. Anywho, I think I'm wanting to start AutoX'ing, but my car doesn't respond EXACTLY how I want it to respond yet. Hmm..But I don't know where to start? lol. I'm lowering on T1R Springs with front camber bolts so I'm -2 degrees in front wiht 0 toe. The rear I just left alone because I didn't think it'd make a big difference. Anybody know if I put camber shims in the back if it'll improve handling? Tempting to get that front sway bar.

lilaznviper 06-14-2008 10:54 PM

hey i'm just bored from work....

cheap way out for tools... go to canadian tires...buy tools, return them done
so many people do that

Im sure he wants to use the tools longer than the *allowed* return time. It's not a one time thing... it's his job and something he wants to pursue a career in so he'll need the tools for sometime...

Tim Budong 06-15-2008 03:20 AM

nothing beats taking out loans to get urself ahead of the game my friends!
i know a buddy taht actually did this, and paid everything back in about a years time

Raid3n 06-15-2008 12:34 PM

it's fine that you're bored, but contribute to the thread, don't post whore. you see where it got diggy right?

OT: you're best not to cheap out on tools lol. i've had some pretty shitty ones and they just frustrate you to no end, and hold up the job.

rear camber doesn't affect your handling as much as front does iirc, but it will still help under heavy cornering loads. you just don't need to camber as much as the front. so if you camber -2.0° in the front like -0.5° or maybe even one (at the most i would think) should be good for the rear. the camber just ensures you have as big a contact patch as possible when you're turning.

Err...so many people do that maybe because they bought the wrong tools? Or they was a cheaper price for the same tool elsewhere? Why would I buy the tool then return them. I might as well not buy it. :stupid:

Yeah I already bought some snap on tools for my everyday usage - (i.e - rachet, sockets, wrenches) but I need like other stupid stuff like Tire Pressure Gauge that I don't have, LOL. Tread gauge, etc etc. ALl that stuff, I guess I'm going to go tool shopping today!

k20a 06-15-2008 05:24 PM

Wow, I guess it's Sunday and nobody is at home on REVscene eh? Heh. What is everybody even doing for their Father's Day? I'm having a BBQ in an hour or so, hMMmm haven't BBQ for awhile now.

Raid3n 06-15-2008 05:45 PM

tire gauge is easy to find and not that expensive.. unless you want a really high end one haha. i just got one of those manual ones and stuck it in my glove box with my telescoping pen magnet.

Actually, I might've called it wrong and I don't really know hte name to it but it's one of those tire gauges where you connect to an airline and also adjust tire pressure .ehhe

Raid3n 06-15-2008 07:49 PM

ahh it's just an inline air pressure gauge then? haha.

k20a 06-15-2008 10:28 PM

everyone is just afriad of posting

Raid3n 06-15-2008 11:04 PM

then lets say this. talk about what ever, but don't just say "oh no, its almost on the second page. lets keep it on the first" i will give you points.... aside from the obvious stupidity, seeing it is well passed the first page.... not to mention that post would more than likely have rolled the page over.... your post was obvious postwhoring.... the general banter that has been going on is fine.

Inaii 06-15-2008 11:11 PM

Good job Morgan. You killed the thread =Þ No rotary rebuild money for you!

I don't think anyone is afraid of points or perhaps a ban from an internet forum. Who gives two fucks. God damn, I know that if I got banned I'd probably start doing some chores around the house.

don't ban me!

Raid3n 06-15-2008 11:22 PM

*winds up the ban hammer*

*Drops it on his foot*

DAMNIT!

anywho....

there is a set of Jet tools i want to get, but they are 229$ =[ and i can't afford that AND my motor...

Inaii 06-15-2008 11:23 PM

Engine imo =Þ

Yushimi 06-16-2008 07:42 AM

reason I havnt been posting here is that aznlilviper keeps posting dead posts which I basically can't say anythig much about the post but,"damn that's one post whoring post."

Anyway, Morgan, if eric scares you, use your car knowledge and spam him with information till he overloads and does what computer does, BOOM! Lmao

I'm so sick with the flu =(
