it was ok. there were a few decent scenes but at the end 30 mins, it got really boring. I guess it wasn't all about Ip Wen, but there were some deep philosophy. There were a few scenes that wasn't linear which I didn't like and a side story that was added to it which made it useless. move has mandarin and cantonese but i watched the mandarin version cause I knew there would be more mandarin (meant reading subtitles) anyways. do not expect it be to the traditional fighitng movie.

that's one thing I HATE about him, good looking guy, has tons of potential, but he has the same "straight face" no reaction face....
leon lai is similar to him, but not as good looking. leon lai just stares out of hte blues somewhere .... ryan G was great in Crazy stupid love and isle of march (or whatever that was) was ok.

i love the wizard of oz story. watched the original on VHS probably a few dozen times as a kid. also saw the Wicked broadway. this movie didnt tie into wicked for obvious reasons, but did add to the actual wizard of oz story. Also all 3 witches were smoking hot.

yes it was cheesy a lot of the times. yes it was a little too comedic compared to what oz 'should' have been. and yes james francos acting was a bit iffy. still i enjoyed it after being disappointed by a spell of bad movies this year.
