I agree with you, Ip Man wasn't a documentary, it was more of a kung fu flick. They took part of the person and added a few storylines in it some real some wasn't. Saying it was propaganda is just stretching it a bit. I mean there has to be a few Western movies that "based on a true story" but really didn't portrayed a good picture at all....

But Imax brings it down to a 5/10

Movies that weren't filed for Imax just don't work on Imax for me. Having someone's face take up your entire scope of vision is just not how movies should be. Action scenes turn into a big blur too. The resolution was high, so the images were very crisp and clear. Unfortunately that has the side effect of showing CG in full detail, so the CG looks like crap too.

I tried 3D, and it failed. I tried non-imax-movie-on-imax, and it failed too. I'll just stick to normal screens from now on :thumbsup:
