24hr lemon party, where?? |
Previa = 3900lbs, strip it out and it'll meet the 4000lb weight req. :p http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/cto/1284038643.html would be cooler, though, and we can pretend to be Japanese royalty (need a good theme to get selected for the race) and dress up like samurai or some crap like that... :D |
http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/cto/1306264042.html This is $600 but it's got 4WS!!! Fuck Air care eh? low mileage and 5speed! This is $500 USD right? Or these are pretty fast http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/cto/1292826576.html too bad its an auto... Or how about Z28 camaro http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/cto/1259497235.html Or maybe a GTI fixer upper with a passat engine! http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/cto/1252538148.html |
That Prelude is a very competitive car, IMO. Not high-mileage, 4WS, 140hp, lightweight once stripped out, stick-shift, Honda reliability... :D Yeah, $500USD. |
I would be totally in for this. Some of my autoX competitors from the US did this and they were telling me all about it. SOunds like a total hoot, and yes any and all safety equipment is allowed including lexan windows, hood locks, cage, harness... |
Well, I found a place that does roll cages in Surrey - http://www.progasengineering.com/pricing.htm, and I'm pretty sure the sponsors on RS sell safety gear (seats, harnesses, suits, helmets etc). And there's lots of salvage yards in Vancouver. http://www.revscene.net/forums/honda...d-t584533.html So it's totally doable as long as we have someone with a trailer and a truck/SUV to haul the car down to Oregon/California/Nevada for the races. |
Hey, we can use Bastardo's 1990 Integra RS! Just part out bits and pieces from it to get it under the 500USD rule... :p |
