Yes, UVic weighs GPA 70% and LSAT30%, that is why people who go to Uvic tend to have higher GPAs. (3.8+).
If you go on www.lawstudents.ca you will find all sorts of info regarding schools all over the country. You will probabaly get more responses there. You can usually find this information on each of the law school's website. A simple phone call to each respective school would also get you the info you need. Admission staff are usually very nice and helpful, or so I have heard.
Just wondering..which schools are you interested in? and why not Uvic?

Osgoode Hall (York) is a phenomenal school. If you're not the brightest consider USask / Manitoba, it's still a LLB/JD at the end of the day, altho you might be hustling personal injury claims with ICBC to make $200k, it's still better than the avg pay eh?

You can practice in Hong Kong as a foreign lawyer. There's someone at our firm in HK who did the Ontario Bar and New York Bar exams and is working on the US team of our firm.

Ezekiel 25:17. The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you.
