thanks! i was thinking of getting the A* MX-1, but i was scared of sizing issues, i had a TZ-1 38 US jacket before, and it was baggyish. so i went to RMS and they had the laguna seca 1 piece on sale, tried it on, and dang it felt pretty good. no regrets so far. and i think i like the black alot more everytime i look at it, the A* MX-1 had alot of colors going on.

its a 48 euro so its 38 US

oh and to everyone out there looking for a suit as well. GET PERFORATED. i originally did not want a PERF suit thinking i can damage easier and won't be much diff

when i tried out my laguna seca, the perf made a huge diff, it was 10-12 degrees today and i thought i would be really cold since its perf.ed, but actually the suit kept me from sweating, i was pretty warm in the suit.

i couldn't imagine non perf when the summer hits during trackdays

nice suit Noizz! I can't really wear 1pc suits as I'm not slim. I'll look like a one piece of sexy sausage ...like a bratwhurst or even more like a longanisa(filipino sausage) since I'm short

Just got all my gear, another n00b here.

Go to Modern Motorcycles around Commercial + 12th, the guy I dealt with (Aaron, son of the owner) put together a pretty decent deal for me (gloves + pants + boots). Burnaby Kawasaki is overpriced + half-assed service, and Richmond Motorsports is quality but $$$. I like Imperial Motorcycles too (dealt with Sandra), but their hours aren't so great.

I don't know that much, but be sure to try sitting on a bike while trying on the gear. Walking around and riding are pretty different when checking where the armour sits on you.

As for my gear: finally just got it all yesterday Yes, I am very aware that my helmet + jacket don't match.

Shark RSX Stunt - Black + Red

Joe Rocket Meteor 5.0 - Blue

Joe Rocket GPX 2.0 - White

Joe Rocket Alter Ego - Black

Alpinestars SMX-4 - Black

yeah, doesn't matter if your gear doesn't match. I'd say function > looks

Bump.
The bike season is coming up!
Anyone plan on buying new gear?

I'll be shopping for Boots really soon and i'm also looking for some under-armor.

Anyone know any locals who sell SixSixOne products?

TIA.

I'll be buying a new jacket. My old one is too big for me now as I lost quite a bit of weight since last season. This time I going to buy leathers

The only shop I could think of that carries SixSixOne stuff are Baysideperformance and Richmond Motorsports.

Don't forget boots, they are very important and most of the time overlooked. If you ride with laces make sure you tuck them in.

Laces in chain sucks ass.
