how come these "tuners" never have engine bay picks? well, because they are pick-a-part places, not tuners. If I haven't heard their name before they are nobodys.

you work in the aftermarket parts industry or something?

its nicer looking than a Smart, and smarts cost 15k for the base one already.

unfortunately where our scene or hobby is at the moment, pre-made and off the shelft parts are much more reasonably priced and easier to obtain than custom made parts.

For the most part, without a lot of room or know how, most cars on the road are just mobile catalogue of parts put together.
