Kesler is.
He's had to switch positions to make the whole top 6 forwards situaiton work for everyone so I would say him.
I'm listening to the team 1040 too!

He's getting top line minutes and he kills ther PK and forechecks and all that jazz...I just think Kesler does a better job of it.
Kesler has moved to the right side which is not his natural position to cater to Sundin and Demitra making him more valuable to this team.
he's got better number too - 10 more points and way less penelty minutes/

Burrows started out as a plug who only started making waves as of last year when he had to prove he deserves to be a Canuck.
His only goal was to not be a dispensible commodity. Probably play 3rd or 4th line and not have to worry that his roster spot was in jeopardy. Now, not only is his roster spot solidified, he's playing top 6 roles and have the offensive contribution to boot.
We're happy w/ Kesler's progress, our drafts didn't turn out to be a bust, and was a sound investment of time and patience. In comparison, Burrows progress in skill, role and displayed capability is just mindblowing.

out of the 2 i'd have to say kesler. how many times have we seen him grimace on the bench in pain but not miss a shift. he does it all. plays the pp pk even strength. burrows has have a good spurt the last 4 weeks or so but i think kesler has been more consistent. if i could, i'd give it to both as both are insanely valuable. kesler also takes faceoffs, burrows doesnt. but burrows seems to be more clutch. aaaahhh its a great arguement to have

Wow!! Kesler and Burrows are just AWESOME!! Quote:
"That's what we need everybody to do," said Kesler. "If we're going to win the Cup, we need guys to take pay cuts. The way the salary cap is now, you really can't get what you're worth now if you want to win. Everybody in this lockerroom knows that and for us to be a great team going forward, we're going to have to take a pay cut." "I want to play here for a long time," said Kesler. "I think we can win with the group of guys we've got here and that's the important thing. I like the direction. We're not in a rebuilding phase and I like that this organization wants to win badly."
