Either way, I wanna group buy the Carall GLARE Water Squash, perhaps the best scent, and lasts forever. I just don't want to fork out all that cash... they sell it for roughly $17 at Overdrive WHEN they have it, however cost is near $9 for them. I saw it online at http://stores.ebay.com/SquashAir for $12/$2 = $14USD shipped.

getsquash.com has them for 10 bucks each with free shipping. 6 of them for $50.00. You have them shipped to the border. Pay 4 bucks for that border service and bring them across yourself avoiding any brokerage fees. Taxes and duty won't be too much. For a group buy, that would be the most economical way, no?

SpuGen 07-16-2008 06:22 AM

I use axe.

It's like $4, and it last for the longest time ever.
Wayyyy more cost effective.

Or ball out like I did before.
BGo to Definition or whatever that perfume/cologne shop is with the "crazy deals"
Buy one. get one free.
Use the "free" one and shoot it around your car every so often.

Both ways are still cheaper than buying air spencers or whatever. Smells better too.

Mass ordering?

It was meant as a horrible joke, but everyone signed up, so I'll look into it.

they only ship to the states, and with gas prices as it is, i'm far enough away I don't wanna go down for pickup.

Shun Izaki 07-16-2008 08:57 AM

I looked up the distributor and they said they won't sell without some account, and without a LARGER order (I told them upwards of 15 untis)

They had an alternative which was their main re-seller gotogiga.com

from there, I punched in the numbers for 15 units and got this back

gg-1075-1077 Glare Kuro Air Fresheners from CARALL
- 1077 > Water Squash $ 7.99/ea
Item Total: $ 119.85
Shipping/Handling Total: $35 (to canada)
= $154.85
$10.33USD for each one, however, that's not inclusive of the $5 custom fee, and whatever taxes I pay on the package that comes in. So it's more like $179 if my math is right. That makes them just under $12, or i'd say a maximum of $13.

If everyone's down, we can meet some where convinient to bring cash, and i'll make the order. ~$13 is still better than $20 after taxes here.

Noizz 07-16-2008 09:14 AM

^ we should do a larger order then

seriously 15 units is not a group buy... thats like 1 air freshner each,

if everyone is serious about this and wants to save cash at least 5 freshners each, its not like they spoil or anything, and it'll prob last u a year or two.

contact the main distributor again, set up an account and purchase +50, i bet those freshners are $4 each if not $3. 7.99 is not a discount... haha

Until I get more people even committed, I won't be doing orders.

illicitstylz 05-03-2009 11:53 PM

where can you get carall glare water squash locally?

i've tried the place at aberdeen, it doesn't even have the cs-x3 squash ones...

cartronix at parker in richmond?

SkinnyPupp 05-04-2009 12:04 AM

BW "squash" is a pretty poor translation of the scent, which is based on the yubari melon. I'm not sure when things like air fresheners and drinks started being called "squash" but there you go. You should think of this when referring to the scent, not the squash posted above:

The big square ones suck ass... The squash smells like 7-up.

I just got a refill of that CSX3 stuff and threw it under my seat, but after about 2 weeks its already fading.

I should try that glare stuff.

Shun Izaki 05-05-2009 09:22 AM

lots of richmond ricer stores sell fake CS-X3 refills.

you always see blurry printer or "patent pending"

T&T actually carries it from time to time, if you can find it, it's near the household section where some have more air fresheners or not.

That being said, carall water squash = by far the best, and only play locally to get it, is Overdrive that I know of.

shenmecar 05-05-2009 09:26 AM

parker place? i think i saw it there b4, i didnt buy it tho cuz its not that great.

Haha, that's right, I bought a fake one once, thinking I was getting a sweet deal, but I got some really bad headaches.

I love squash (even though it smells nothing like squash), my earliest memories as a riceboy was to get an Air Spencer air freshener with squash scent in my car. It's been years since I got one of those....brings back memories. I was addicted to the scent like crack cocaine.
