wuuhoo 08-23-2010 11:10 PM

Splmash 08-24-2010 06:07 PM

Harryt 08-25-2010 12:33 AM

Hot my upass, but one of my prof still hasn't given out marks yet!!! When is the due date for marks?

wuuhoo 08-27-2010 02:46 PM

need some help making a decision:

take: Buec 232 (2 days) with zhang at surrey. I heard M johnson is good, but it doesnt seem like hes teaching until next summer

or take bus 237 (1 day 2hrs) with k Masri at surrey?

buec with zhang is brutal (in my opinion). i'd take bus 237 since its pretty easy and even better that the prof is highly liked.

Thank god, I passed 301.

Geoff Dunbar is teaching 305 next sem... Hard prof!

You should've took econ355 this sem. Prof was Don Devoretz and it was EASY. Probably one of the easiest courses I've took at SFU.

Same here. Think I have to wait until week 3 before it arrives...

jeepwreck 08-29-2010 08:35 PM

^^ same here i have two classes that the book are not going to be there until a few weeks in to sept.

ASG111 08-29-2010 09:51 PM

so who got killed at from the summer 2010 marks? fuck, i got fucking demolished!!! fuck fuck fuck!

CRS 08-29-2010 10:45 PM

I never get books until after the first week is done.

This is to ensure that my prof will actually be using the book.

has anyone or does anyone know someone that has successfully appealed admissions into the bba program? i have a legit reason why i did bad on some courses but i dont know if i should bother writing an appeal letter. :(

Splmash 08-30-2010 05:42 PM

it's my first year at sfu. my old university accepted credit cards to pay for tuition but sfu does not. so how and where do i pay?

Strzelec 08-30-2010 05:55 PM

You can pay with debit cards/check/wire transfer and you can either just drop the check off in the boxes, or go up to the registar and pay. This is in MBC by the way.

Why don't you just retake the courses you did terrible on? If you learned the material it should be even easier now to retake the course and get a better mark.

An appeal letter is worthless... that's like begging. If you got what it takes to get into the BBA program, then go out and prove it to them.

Most uni's are not accepting CC's anymore. They lose out a lot with fees, so it's going to be happening at almost all UNI's very soon.

if you did exceptionally well (I mean at least A-) for the required courses, then you can try.

d1 08-30-2010 06:49 PM

^ That wouldn't make sense. If i'm not mistaken, business only looks at the grades for your core classes now, so if he got an A- average for the required courses, he should be accepted.

d1 08-30-2010 11:13 PM

If anyone's selling a parking pass, holla!

Jgresch 08-30-2010 11:22 PM

^what lot? I might give away my spot..... cuz I'm only goign 2 days a week
