What's wrong with stating what people want to pursue? there are studies that show a higher percentage do manage to achieve what they state to others instead of hiding it within themselves

I'd also like to see the studies about people coming out of highschool saying they want to go into med school..and then how many of the actually make it there.

It's one thing to state what they want to do, its another claiming that they are already doing it.

Not that I am saying some of those who have stated their majors are not really correct. For all I know, those who have stated their majors or minors are telling the truth. Just from experience when meeting classmates, out of those who state they are in "business", I would say less than 10% are actually in business. Of course, those are in non business classes such as just electives or econ courses.
